Chevrolet Matiz 'S'...

The new Chevrolet Matiz is a much improved design to the original Daewoo model, offering greater safety features and interior design for driver and passenger comfort.

It retains the very distinctive "smile" front design with its large headlamps & front grill as well as the proven engineering and technological features of the very successful & popular Daewoo model but the cockpit has been completely re-designed for greater space & safety.

The Matiz comes with an 800cc or 1000cc 3 cylinder engine with 5 speed manual gearbox. The 800cc version generates a very impressive 51bhp and is capable of cruising at 120kph with a top speed of 140kph (approx' 75mph/90mph) but is still very economical to drive.

The Matiz is designed for city and urban driving and economy rather than high performance, but it is still very nimble and provides a good performance for such a small vehicle.

The Matiz is a compact but comfortable 5 door / 5 seat vehicle, with many safety features incorporated into its interior design, including twin airbags, energy absorbing steering wheel, seat belts & headrests and a much stronger safety cage. The boot capacity is 170 litres, growing to an impressive 845 litres with the rear seats lowered (or split 60/40).

F&C models come with 800cc engine and has power steering, air conditioning, ABS, central locking, electric windows and Radio/CD player as standard.
