The
Punto was designed to replace the Uno.
It has many of the well proven engineering and technological features of the Uno, developed and refined over many years, but several significant improvements were also added, making it essentially a completely new vehicle.
It was voted European Car of the Year in 1995. Special praise was given for the functional design of its interior and level of passenger comfort.
The Punto is a 5 Door hatchback with a range of engine sizes, offering a lively performance and good economy. F&C vehicles have the automatic gearbox (CVT : continuously variable transmission), based on the 1242cc (60bhp) engine.
